Over the years, one thing has been certain
2007 - Viva Las Vegas In 2007 our presentation Viva Las Vegas won 1st Place in the Small Band category at the Flying Fish, St. Anthony’s and St. James Junior Carnival competitions. The band also placed 2nd in the Small Band category at the Red Cross Junior Carnival competition. At the NCC Junior Carnival we were adjudged Mini Band Of The Year in the Open and Non-School categories and awarded the trophy for Mini Band Designer Of The Year. We also copped the prize for Mini Band of the Year (Non School) at the Downtown Junior Carnival.The Queen of the Band was awarded Junior Queen Of Carnival at the Flying Fish and St. Anthony’s competitions and, along with the King of the Band, appeared in the National Finals. 2006 - Jewels of the Reef Our presentation won the Mini Band of the Year at the Downtown competition and the Small Band category at the NCC Downtown competition. We also placed First in the Small Bands category in the St. James competition. At the Red Cross Children's Carnival competition the band received a special award. 2005 - Rhythm Nation In 2006 we won the Downtown Junior Carnival Mini Band of the Year title and second place at the Red Cross Kiddies Carnival and the St. James Kiddies Carnival. Click here to see some images from the Rhythm Nation presentation.
2004 - Mardi Gras was our presentation for 2004 and our most successful year to date. We were awarded the Mini Band of the Year title at the N.C.C. Downtown Kiddies Carnival Sunday parade.We also placed 3rd in the Small Band Category at the N.C.C. Queens Park Savannah competition. Our presentation placed 2nd at the Red Cross competition in the Small Band category and 1st at the Flying Fish competition. The band also placed 1st in the Small Band category at the St. James Street Parade and was adjudged the Most Colorful. Click here to see some images from the Mardi Gras presentation.
2003 - Our presentation was Chinese New Year, which won the Junior Band of the Year Mini Category at the Queens Park Savannah and Downtown Port of Spain competition sites. The band also won prizes for the most original band at the St. James Street Parade and best costume design at the N.C.C. The band came second in the N.C.C. Spirit of Carnival competition. The King of the Band was selected for the National Finals and placed fifth overall. The Queen of the Band ranked third in the Historical Category of the National Finals. 2002 - We placed third at the Junior Band of the Year Mini Category at the Queens Park Savannah with our portrayal of Life on the Reef. The band placed second in both the N.C.C.
