The Concept

Our 2009 presentation, The Forbidden City, takes you                                          wpe2.jpg (20727 bytes)

behind the walls of the Chinese Imperial Palace, home to

24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the many

cultural and historical treasures of China.

Our sections for our 2009 Carnival presentation are as follows:

  • Lotus Flowers:                                Girls (2-5 years)
  • Astronomers:                                    Boys (2-5 years)
  • Fan Dancers                                      Girls (6 - 10 years)
  • Warrior Lords                                   Boys (6-10 years)
  • Ladies in Waiting:                             Girls (10-14 years)                          Archers:                                           Boys (10-14 years)

In designing our costumes we recognize that they will be worn by energetic children who go to more competitions than adults. As a consequence quality is of utmost importance. We ensure that all costumes are built to last yet comfortable.
